Milestones

We urge the Government to legislate to create an annual threshold limit on parking charge increases made by councils each year to prevent large hikes. We feel current percentage increases of on-street parking charges could disproportionately affect vulnerable groups, neurodivergent and pensioners.

We are deeply concerned about what we believe are unfair and excessive parking charge hikes imposed by councils. We believe increases have hurt local businesses, families, & vulnerable individuals, including those with neurodivergent conditions. We believe the Government must create a threshold for councils to abide by.
