Milestones—
I want the government to remove mandatory age restrictions on films in cinemas and make ratings advisory, not mandatory.
I think that would be respectful of parent choice, a protector of artistic freedom, and allow young people to see necessary stories while still providing clear content guidance to families. I think age limits in cinemas may discourage young people from viewing worthwhile or educational films. We want the government to look at the rules in other countries and render age ratings advisory so families can make up their own minds.
