Secure the HAF program as a long term investment in our children's future. In recent years, HAF has been a lifeline for many children and families, providing nutritious meals, engaging activities, and crucial support for communities.
We think HAF empowers parents with childcare and support, strengthening communities and fostering greater mental and physical well-being whilst improving social mobility. We believe that investment in HAF will give returns in broader social value, from safer streets to improved outcomes for individuals. We feel that without confirmation of funding beyond 2025-26, local authorities and community organisations cannot plan effectively. We urge you to extend HAF until 2029.
