Milestones

Amend the Inquiries Act 2005 to: – Require formal government responses to inquiry recommendations within 12 months – Legally mandate implementation plans – Establish independent oversight to monitor progress and ensure meaningful accountability

As a survivor and former member of IICSA’s Victims and Survivors Consultative Panel, I saw the cost of truth without action. We think inquiries like IICSA, Grenfell, the Post Office and Infected Blood gave survivors truth — but not justice. Ignored recommendations can retraumatise and allow harm to repeat. Children are being sexually abused and exploited. This must stop. Child protection is a duty of care we all need to meet.
