Milestones

We urge the Government to: •Fund more education and mandatory training for GPs & urologists on chronic embedded UTIs •Raise more NHS awareness so patients receive more timely, compassionate, and effective treatment

Chronic embedded UTIs can leave many in daily unbearable pain. It can negatively impact quality of life & can leave sufferers disabled, yet we feel many GPs & urologists aren’t trained to recognise symptoms or treat them effectively. We think tests are outdated and can miss these infections, which can lead to years of agony, misdiagnosis, and poor mental health. We urge the Government to fund more training and research, and raise more awareness so patients can get more timely, effective care.
