Almost all workers are legally entitled to 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, self employed people get 0 and may lose a weeks wage for going on a weeks holiday.
We feel it’s very unfair to be self employed when it comes to holidays. We get no paid time off. We think self-employed workers should get a tax break to the equivalent monetary value of 5.6 weeks annual leave.
