We want the Government to fund the NHS to create a dedicated quit-vaping service for under-18s, train GPs, support schools with education, AND launch youth-targeted campaigns. Urgent action is needed to protect young people.
Teen vaping is a growing health crisis. Children as young as 11 may be becoming addicted to nicotine, but there isn't enough NHS support to help them quit. We think GPs and stop smoking clinics are unprepared, and schools are overwhelmed, young people want help. Without urgent government action to create services and educate schools we feel we risk a generation facing long-term health issues and addiction. We think they deserve better support now.
