All Illegal immigrants from small boat crossings should be placed in secure camping sites on disused airfields until their asylum case is heard. We think this might appease the British public and keep all parties safe.
We think this would protect the British public, help keep all parties safe, reduce costs, reduce appeal to illegal immigrants who value their liberty. We think this would lower the burden on Police guarding hotels and marshalling protests. We think many might view it as another positive step forward in managing a challenging issue.
