Milestones

We want the Government to ensure that offenders convicted of sexual crimes cannot be moved to open prisons until they have served at least half of their custodial sentence in a closed prison.

We believe the safety of the public and the rights of victims should come before the privileges of offenders. We think the Government should amend policies to ensure that those convicted of sexual crimes serve a greater proportion of their sentence in closed conditions.
