Milestones—
The government must improve standards in event venue accessibility. Measures could include improving access to water, medical staff, safe zones, accessible bathrooms, staff disability training, emergency info collection, ramps, and accessible entry. Everyone deserves safe, inclusive event spaces.
We think accessibility is a right, not a privilege. The government should require event venues make the necessary adjustments to ensure a safe environment and pleasant experience for their attendees. We think it is in the venue's interest that attendees feel comfortable in entrusting their necessary adjustments to staff members present. We want the government to raise the standards so all attendees can enjoy events safely and equally.
