We urge the UK Government to mandate and fund all zebra crossings in England to be painted with the St George’s Cross to boost national pride and showcase English identity. We want funding to cover materials and labours, and exemptions can apply for historical or safety reasons.

We want the UK Government to do this to foster national pride and unity. We believe the striking design would turn ordinary crossings into vibrant symbols of English identity, aligning with 2025 cultural events. We believe it could stimulate local economies by drawing tourists and creating jobs in painting and maintenance. Enhanced visibility may also improve road safety.
