With the advent of the up and coming EES system in Europe, we are asking for a Government ID card system similar to current EU member state ID cards.

Since passport stamping will be a thing of the past in the EU post full roll out of EES, we think there will be no reason to have to use a passport only. We believe these are the benefits: 1) This somewhat exists under the UK PASS card system 2) not everyone has a passport or driving licence 3) Post full roll out of the EES, we can see if the EU will allow for a UK ID card with travel purposes. This will require the art of deal making between the UK and EU to allow this to happen in the future. 4) in some EU countries you have to carry ID at all times. This way you can leave your passport in the hotel safe to prevent losing it.
