Introduce a law banning children under 16 from buying high-caffeine products like gum, supplements, excluding drinks, with strict age checks and safe placement in stores
We are concerned about the possibility of young people overdosing on high caffeine products and requiring hospital treatment. We are also concerned about the possible toxicity and accessibility of high caffeine products for young people. We urge the Government to pass a law which restricts sales to adults only, enforces age checks and ensures safe placement in shops to help prevent overdoses and protect young people.
