We think the 2024 ban that allowed existing XL bully dogs to hold an exemption certificate is clearly not working given the continuing number of serious attacks. We think that the dogs are clearly not suitable for domestic settings and need to be destroyed.
Far too many attacks are happening despite the owners holding a certificate. We think it isn't right that these dangerous dogs are allowed to remain at large terrorising, attacking and killing. DEFRA need to act quickly and stop these attacks.
