Change how couples payments work to protect people who are in a relationship with an abusive partner. Currently Universal Credit pays couples into one account rather than two separate accounts. This can enable more abuse as the victim wouldn't be able to easily and safely escape an abusive partner
To fix this you should remove the couples benefits and have the payment split over two accounts, or offer easier support that can't be tracked by the abuser to leave the relationship.
