We think Britain has huge gas and oil resources that we are not utilising. We have very low storage capacity for those we import.
We are energy dependent and buy these resources from countries accessing the same areas. This leaves us subject to the prices set by international markets and added government taxes. Britain currently endures very high energy prices. The oil and gas fields must be reopened using only taxpayer funds and the products used solely for British industries and domestic use. We think this could enable lower prices and allow industries to flourish and citizens to afford to power their homes. Any surplus to be sold at International prices.
