Assistive technology software applications designed for people who have visual impairment, dyslexia etc are eligible for UK Disability VAT Exemption, however the text-to-speech voices that such software use are not VAT zero rated or eligible for UK Disability VAT Exemption We ask that text-to-speech voices are given the zero rated VAT status, or UK Disability VAT Exemption eligibility as with other reading aids.
