I want the government to give specific funding to schools so that everybody's ingredients for a food related subject at GCSE are paid for.

The government should do this as especially during this time with the cost of living, paying for food tech ingredients can be hard. Costs can act as a deterrent for people who want to do the GCSE course, and seeing as the hospitality industry as a whole is facing challenges, more willing and wanting workers could help the industry. We think this would be incredibly helpful.
