Milestones

We call on the UK Government to set out in statue that sex crime victims are a vulnerable group from first police contact, and grant them a legal representative at the taxpayer expense.

We believe this can help protect their legal and human rights in disclosure, any judicial process or damages retrieval post conviction. Legal aid is afforded to the accused from the point of arrest, and we believe that giving the victims the same privilege will protect then during the judicial process, from any potential bias, gaslighting or other forms of anti victim prejudice and discrimination, and produce better prepared, more confident witnesses. Who feel safer whilst navigating the scary footpath to justice.
