The MOD should release, without redactions, medical records relating to nuclear test veterans. This government should formally acknowledge and apologise for any effect nuclear radiation has had on the people who took part in experiments and their children and grandchildren.
UK citizens took part in experiments without appropriate protective clothing or proper consent, and we believe they have suffered debilitating illnesses and passed on congenital conditions to their children and grandchildren. In many cases they have only received a medal in recognition. We think successive governments have tried to deny the British state held responsibility.
