Milestones—
The government should keep the 5 Year ILR route for those who have been in the UK since 2023 on any visa, such as Student, Skilled Worker or such.
Migrants can positively impact the UK. We feel increasing the ILR route from 5 to 10 years is unfair to those who came in 2023 or later with hopes of contributing to the country's economy. I believe a 5-year ILR path provides stability, encourages ambition, and helps skilled individuals build a future here, benefiting both them and the UK as a whole.
