Employers do not have to implement GP and Occupational Health advice on workplace adjustments if it is not "reasonable", leaving disabled and unwell workers unprotected. We call for a law requiring employers to follow medical recommendations unless they can prove it’s objectively impossible.
Give medical professionals, not employers the final say on workplace adjustments. We want the Government to make GP and Occupational Health recommendations legally binding unless employers can prove implementation is impossible. We think this will protect health, prevent discrimination, and keep people in work.
