Change the status of ketamine from class B to A. Increase funding for research and communicate results to the public about why this cheap horse tranquilliser can be dangerous to young adults, and provide health support to recovering addicts.
We feel the use of this drug is being ignored by the authorities because it could take too much time and resource to police it. We believe the change of classification may deter many from using it in the first place and would challenge the perception that this drug is “harmless”.
