Milestones

Carbon monoxide is often called the “silent killer” because you cannot see it, smell it, or taste it. It creeps into homes and takes lives without warning. In the UK, dozens of people die every year and thousands are treated in hospital because of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s time for change.

Many deaths by carbon monoxide are completely preventable by a functioning alarm. Smoke alarms are already a legal requirement in many situations, and rightly so — but we feel carbon monoxide alarms are just as vital. Help us make change and keep everyone safe.
