Milestones—
We call upon Parliament and the Government to conduct a review of procedures used to ensure no UK taxpayer funds, indirectly or otherwise, go to foreign governments, organisations, or groups known to support, finance, or engage in terrorism.
We think this is needed to help protect British taxpayers and uphold our nation’s commitment to peace and justice. British taxpayers work hard to support their families and communities. Their money should not in any way contribute to funding regimes or organisations that promote violence, instability, or the persecution of innocent people. Any financial assistance provided by the UK must align with the values of peace, democracy, and human rights
