I want the Government to implement a national programme to eliminate rough sleeping by providing permanent, safe accommodation and access to support services for all individuals experiencing. Offer mental health support, addiction recovery services, and employment assistance.
Rough sleeping remains one of the most visible forms of poverty in the UK and has severe impacts on health, safety, and wellbeing. Many people become homeless due to circumstances such as loss of employment, family breakdown, or lack of affordable housing. Providing stable accommodation and targeted support would not only improve individual outcomes but also reduce the long-term costs of emergency services and temporary housing.
