We would like the Government to introduce a cap on charity fundraiser fees to protect donors and ensure charities serve the causes they were intended for.
Charity fundraiser fees take up large percentages of people’s donations, which can leave a smaller fraction for the causes that donors care about. We believe this could mislead the public, reduce trust in charities, and waste money meant to help people. We want the Government to cap fundraiser fees at 20%, to enforce transparency, and hold agencies accountable, ensuring donations can genuinely benefit those in need.
