Introduce a wealth tax on anyone that has a net worth above £50million. We believe this would mean wealth cannot be transferred or avoided nearly as easily and could help reduce wealth inequality. Since COVID, the wealth of billionaires has risen.
We believe this has had dire consequences for the rest of society. Living standards for many in the general public are falling, whilst many billionaires are becoming more prosperous. We believe it is excessive for anyone to own billions when millions in the UK rely on food/warm banks just to survive. We want the Government to work for the people, not the billionaires, and we feel it's about time we see this in action.
