Milestones—
Government to require utilities companies through regulators like OFWAT and OFGEM to cancel daily service charge when companies fail to deliver service throughout the day.
Many customers are suffering regular power cuts, interruptions to water supply, poor quality water and other failures to essential service. But, all utility companies still charge the daily service charge even when they are not delivering. We want the government and regulators to ensure daily charge is cancelled whenever there is a failure to deliver irrespective of length of failure or cause to provide contracted service.
