Increase funding for parents of SEN children and those who have had multiples such as twins/triplets in order to be able to afford more appropriate childcare like a dedicated Nanny for the family because childminders and nurseries for many in this situation are not able to accommodate such children.
As a single working NHS Nurse & mother, I have searched over a year for childcare for my children. Childminders I have contacted can't accommodate them. I love my job & my children, I want to continue working but also ensure my children have the right care. Universal Credit allows Ofsted registered Nannies but many don't want to become registered, and just to cover the Nanny fee for my working hours is £1000 more than I earn a month.
