I want the Government to introduce a law making it illegal to be drunk in public areas, except in licensed venues
We believe public drunkenness is a serious concern. It leads to antisocial behaviour, violence, and makes many people feel unsafe in their communities. It also puts pressure on the police, NHS, and local services. Many people are also harming themselves through excessive drinking in public, wasting their money and damaging their health and wellbeing. Something needs to be done.
