Milestones

Make breeding dogs at home illegal and only allow dog breeding with a licence from the Government. Establish a cap on the amount of dogs bred yearly. Require neutering before purchase. Increase legal minimum age of dogs sold and require basic training for owners. Require licences for dog owners.

We believe this will help to minimise dog attacks and prevent death by dogs; to help ensure dog breeds are safe for ownership as well as in competent hands and to monitor breeds that are being sold; to minimise the amount of dogs in charities and lessen the strain on dog charities; to ensure dogs are in well looked after happy homes with competent individuals and necessary space and requirements with owners who have knowledge to look after them properly; and to ensure every dog is safe to the public.
