We want the Government to introduce serial numbers on all knives, require ID checks for every purchase, create a national knife-licence system, record all knife sales, raise the legal age to buy any knife to 21 to reduce knife crime
Knife crime can destroy families and put children at risk. Young people are dying because knives are too easy to buy and too easy to carry. We believe current laws are weak and the Government has not acted strongly enough. We need traceable knives, stricter controls, tougher licensing, and a higher purchase age to protect our children and save lives.
