Add a rule to the House of Commons Members Code of Conduct and THE Ministerial Code setting out that MPs and Ministers should not attribute extreme political views to members of the public without clear evidence.

Such extreme political views could include, but is not limited to, “racist”, “far-right”, “bigoted”, “fascist”, “Nazi” or similar. The rule should stipulate that if no evidence is given, the remark must be withdrawn.
