We call on the Government to change child benefits payments so it’s shared between the parents who share 50/50 custody.

Child benefit for your first child is “£26.05 per week” and £17.25 per additional child. We do not think it is fair that one parent, if they are the one claiming the benefit, can receive the full amount and not be made to share the benefit payment with the other parent who also has custody of the child.
