We call on the UK Government to launch a public inquiry which looks into introducing stronger safeguards to protect the UK from reported efforts from Israel and Russia to influence the UK’s democracy.

This should include requiring full transparency for any meetings, communications, gifts, donations, and lobbying conducted in relation to Israel and Russia. We want the inquiry to also investigate introducing requirements for clearer reporting of foreign-funded lobbying, strengthening oversight of political donations and campaign financing, and all ministerial and MP meetings with foreign representatives are recorded publicly.
