Make it illegal for bosses to pay only in commission. For "performance based" pay this should mean minimum wage plus commission when targets are hit. At the moment commission only pay is legal as long as it is guaranteed by the employer to be equivalent to the national minimum wage.

The cost of living is awful right now. We believe no one can live on just commission. We also believe that receiving minimum wage regardless of managing to get results provides a sense of reassurance which will ultimately make employees more motivated to work harder and receive the commission as extra income. This should be a standard.
