Milestones

Launch a public inquiry which investigates the sources, funding & networks behind any organised political disinformation campaigns, examines how hate speech may be weaponised for political gain, and recommends reforms to hold politicians and organisations accountable for undermining democracy.

We believe coordinated political disinformation is poisoning democracy. We feel disinformation about migrants, Muslims, and minorities is deliberately amplified to stoke division and win votes. We believe politicians currently operate with impunity with no penalties for systematic falsehoods or hate speech that may endanger communities. This could embolden far-right extremism and normalise bigotry. We believe we need a public inquiry to expose who's funding these campaigns, hold them accountable, and create enforceable laws against political lying.
