Fund the NHS to send a Prostate Risk Questionnaire to people at age 45, assessing prostate cancer risk and guiding them to monitor symptoms, speak to a nurse, or see their GP.
Prostate cancer is the UK’s most diagnosed cancer, yet many cases are found too late. The UK NSC has recommended screening only for men with BRCA variants, leaving Black men and those with a family history at higher risk. While screening policy is debated, a simple questionnaire at 45 could help with early awareness, targeted guidance and practical prevention. Too many lives are lost because symptoms are missed. This could help save lives.
