Milestones

Currently, drivers with epilepsy need to have been seizure free for 10 years without medication to drive vehicles covered by a C1 license.

We call on the Government to conduct a review of this, as we believe the current rules exclude many with well managed epilepsy from transport and emergency service careers. We think the evidence shows the risks can be managed safely with medical oversight.
