I would like the Government to pass a law which allows Welsh banks to issue their own bank notes, including a £20 note. Scottish and Northern Irish banks can do this. England has Bank of England notes. We believe this is disrespectful towards Wales.

We feel the UK currency lacks Welsh representation, unlike symbols for other nations. We would like banknotes issued by Welsh banks to include the Welsh dragon or figures like Bevan, to show Wales’s unique identity and heritage. We believe acknowledging Wales on UK currency isn't nationalistic; it’s about celebrating its integral part in the UK.
