Milestones

The CIL was designed to ensure that new developments contribute to local infrastructure, but we believe the law unfairly impacts average homeowners who face significant charges for modest home improvements. This can place an undue financial burden on families and individuals.

We ask the Government to review and reform the Community Infrastructure Levy, including a review of the exemption criteria and reforms to the remediation process, and allowing existing homeowners who are impacted to have the opportunity to request a refund from their local council.
