I want the Government to add access to free and universal NHS healthcare as a protected right under the Human Rights Act 1998. This would make universal healthcare a guaranteed legal right for everyone.
The NHS is vital to life, dignity and equality. We believe adding the right to free and universal healthcare to the Human Rights Act would protect the NHS from privatisation or exclusion, ensuring that no future government can remove access without breaching fundamental human rights.
