Revise the tax free allowance for single adult households increasing from £12,570 to £15,000.
We believe by increasing the tax free allowance for single adult households will improve the living conditions for those living alone or raising a family alone. There is a rise in single households and with the increase in cost of living these individuals are unable to access other benefits as they are not considered a low earner however they are often living pay check to pay check which may impact mental health adding to the loneliness epidemic as they cant afford a coffee with friends or a day out.
