Milestones

Introduce a statutory requirement for large employers (employing more than 50 people) to measure and report on workplace inclusion and belonging, alongside existing diversity reporting, with clear government guidance and a proportionate, standardised framework.

We believe that current workplace reporting does not reflect how people experience their workplace, and that many people leave jobs due to poor culture, exclusion, or lack of psychological safety. We think that requiring large organisations to measure inclusion and belonging indicators would provide better insight into lived experience, support fair treatment, improve retention and wellbeing, and help create healthier, more productive workplaces across the UK.
