We call on the Government to fund accommodation for everyone leaving prison so they are not released directly on to the streets and therefore put at a much greater risk of re offending.

I run a homelessness charity and time after time we see clients released from prison straight on to the streets with nothing in place and their only option is to reoffend so they can go back in and have some where to stay. We think more needs to be done and put in place to help these people to rebuild their lives.
