Milestones

We call on the UK Government raise concerns with Government of Bangladesh about violence and attacks against the Hindu minority, including recent mob violence, and to urge Bangladesh’s Government to protect Hindus, minorities, respect for freedom of religion or belief, and ensure accountability.

There have been repeated reports of violence and attacks against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, including assaults on individuals, vandalism of temples, the destruction of homes and businesses, and mob lynchings. We urge the UK Government to raise these concerns diplomatically with the Government of Bangladesh and to urge Bangladesh’s Government to protect religious minorities and ensure accountability for acts of violence.
