Communities, animals, veterans and people with sensory sensitivities are frequently affected by unpredictable and prolonged fireworks use. Emergency services regularly respond to fireworks-related incidents, placing strain on limited resources. We think that introducing controlled access would improve accountability, reduce misuse and support safer, responsible celebrations.
