We call on the UK Government to launch a review into changes to migration rules made on 11 March 2024 relating to bringing dependants to UK, as we believe they are separating legally married couples - especially those experiencing infertility, have no children and lived in the UK before the changes.
We respectfully urge the UK Government to review the migration changes introduced on March 11, 2024, which restricts the ability of migrants to bring or retain their legally married spouses as dependants. For many couples, infertility is not a choice. It is a medical and emotional struggle involving years of treatment, testing, and financial sacrifice. We feel the current policy forces such families into an impossible decision.
