We call on the UK Government to cancel all UK-US agreements that permit US personnel and bases to operate in the UK, in order to prevent the UK from being used as a base for any unilateral military action.
We believe recent statements from the current US Administration which attack the sovereignty of Greenland, Canada, Mexico and other countries have become far more serious since the US’ unilateral attack against Venezuela. We believe the United Kingdom must have no part in supporting this and should do all it can to avoid being a target for retaliation. The UK should protect itself from being used to stage any kind of unilateral action by the United States.
